Accessibility
Last updated September 16, 2026
Choreosophy is meant for every adult who wants to dance, and that includes how the app itself works. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across this website and the Choreosophy app on iOS, Android, and the web.
Hit a barrier? Tell us at
jasmin@choreosophy.com with the
page or screen and what happened. Accessibility reports go to the top of
the queue, and we'll respond within a few days.
What we've built for
- Every control in the app carries a screen-reader name, role, and state, including map pins, filter chips, sliders, and toggles.
- Text colors meet WCAG AA contrast (4.5:1+) at the sizes they're used, in the app and on this site.
- Keyboard focus is visible on every focusable control on the web, and forms announce their errors to assistive technology.
- Animations respect your system's reduced-motion setting.
- Actions that use gestures (like slide-to-redeem) have screen-reader equivalents.
- Browsing classes never requires an account, location access, or a photo. Every permission is optional and explained when asked.
Known limitations
- The interactive map is easiest with sight; every studio on it is also reachable through the fully accessible List and Time views, which show the same results.
- We're continuing to test with VoiceOver and TalkBack on real devices, and expect to keep finding and fixing smaller issues. Reports genuinely help.
How we keep it this way
Accessibility checks are part of how changes ship, not a one-time audit: new screens get the same naming, contrast, and keyboard requirements as everything above, and this page changes when our status does.
